These brochures were to be mailed out to a database of 5,000 unqualified leads with 5000 brochures in storage. In other words, they had no idea if the recipients of their mail out even wanted their service. We changed this brief because we knew this was like throwing money down the drain.

Our solutions was to send out a number of very low cost mailers staggered over 3 months. The individuals who wanted the brochures then either signed up on the website, telephoned or simply filled in the form on the mailer and posted it back. Simple yet effective.

So why was this brilliant for that company?

• Brochures requested from the first mailer was 8.5%.
• That's 425 high value brochures were sent to those in the market to buy from them. Not 5000 as was first briefed, so this saved a lot of money.
• We had turned an unqualified list of prospects into hot leads with up-to date contact information.
• It made follow up process easier for the sales team. Only 425 leads to follow up and not an impossible 5000
• The cost of the campaign was hugely reduced, as only 2500 brochures were needed in total.
• A dramatic increase in sales due to the continious 3-month exposure.
• The campaign cost far less than was first briefed and created more sales.

• We also created digital brochures that anyone could download from the website. So that potential clients could have a brochure immediately, this also saved on printing costs…
